What you are feeling is a deeply human experience and you do not have to carry it by yourself.
I’m an Folsom-based trauma-informed collaborative therapist who specializes in working with teens (age 15+), young adults and adults who are in pain, and need assistance with processing deep emotions to return to their authentic selves.
In my private practice, I bring 15 years of mental health experience to offer you care that is deeply human, authentic, and free of judgment. Outside of therapy, I practice what I teach, leaning into mindfulness to stay grounded and balanced.
I am a collaborative therapist who pulls from a variety of theoretical perspectives including, Internal Family Systems, Dialectical Behavior therapy, Narrative therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral therapy and Psychodynamic theory.
About Shari Gauthier, LMFT
Therapy with me is…
-
Our sessions will be a place where all emotions are welcome, messiness is encouraged, and there is no judgment, just curiosity.
-
A warm, cozy inviting place where you can set your heavy burdens down.
-
We live in a world that often demands we move fast, but healing cannot be rushed. We will honor your pace, as there is no timeline here, and no expectations.
